The Human Access Project (HAP) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization run almost entirely by volunteers and supported by donations - of which 99% go directly to funding our work. We advocate for new beaches, paths, public swimming spaces, and stewardship of the river and watershed.
We also organize the annual Willamette River celebration
The Big Float which will take place July 11, 2020 and the open water advocacy swim with the River Hugger Swim Team daily Monday-Friday, June-September.
